NATHALIE explores Electric Thermal Energy Storage (E-TES) or Power-to-Heat-to-Power Storage (PHPS) systems that store electricity in the form of heat and convert it back to electricity on demand.
The system can buy and store cheap electricity at night, when energy demand is low, and deliver both electricity and heat during the day, when energy demand is high.
The result is a low cost heat and electricity generation capacity on-site, meeting all the energetic needs of energy-intensive industries and commercial buildings.
ENERGY STORAGE
Stores large amounts of electricity in the form of high temperature heat
ELECTRICITY GENERATION
Delivers electricity on demand
HEAT GENERATION
Delivers heat in a customized range of temperatures
